Kate is a parent, a poet, a nurse, and a doula. Since age 19, she has supported thousands of birthing people at home, birth centers and hospitals throughout the U.S. She hosts the Taproot Doula Project, a multimedia platform for birthing people and their caregivers. Her first book “How to Take Care,” with Erin Williams, is coming out October 2022.
