When faced with infertility, how do find the courage to take a chance on having a child?

Today’s guest, Golzar Selbe Naghshineh, a perinatal mental health specialist and psychoanalyst, was interrupted with this question last year when she discovered that a rare genetic disorder disrupted her ability to conceive easily. Confronted with her new reality, Golzar had to make an extremely hard decision about her desire to be a mother and is openly and honestly sharing her story on The Expectful Podcast today.

In listening to her journey, we learn about the sheer power of birth and motherhood, the weights of hope and regret, and why it will never not be important to be kind and listen to yourself through whatever path life takes you on.
