You can eat lobster during pregnancy as long as it’s cooked.
When it comes to the consumption of seafood during pregnancy, the two rules of caution are:
Avoid raw or undercooked seafood
Limit seafood that’s high in mercury
Lobster is a low-mercury seafood, so it’s fine to consume on a regular basis, or at least up to two or three times per week if you are so inclined to partake that often in one of the sea's most indulgent offerings.
