How can we allow for more acceptance in our daily lives with all of what motherhood brings?
Pre- and post-natal yoga instructor, Amy Griffith, is on the podcast today to talk about what it has looked like for her to trust her instincts and lean into the mom that she is becoming every day. A mother of four (including a set of twins) and a former professional dancer, movement has always been a part of her life, and she uses it now to find peace within herself and to bring peace to others through yoga. After giving birth to her first child and not feeling like herself, Amy began meditation in order to be the mom she wanted to be. She now considers it just as important to her health and well-being as physical exercise and wants to encourage other moms to find space for self-care even when it looks messy.
Today, Amy opens up and shares her journey to motherhood, yoga and meditation and how going with the flow/trusting your instincts can help usher in the kind of peace that we all need in our own ways.
