There’s no scientific evidence that pedicures can induce labor. However, the relaxation and pampering might help reduce stress and make you feel better. Some people believe that certain pressure points in the feet might help stimulate labor, but this isn’t well-supported by research. Enjoying a pedicure for relaxation is perfectly fine, but don’t expect it to get things moving along.
